Blush Sock Weight – Madder Reds & Pinks. Pale warm pink — soft and clear, with the delicate warmth that comes from cochineal at low concentration. Not the harsh bright pink of full cochineal but the gentle residual color from an exhaust bath: sweet, subtle, distinctly warm. Closer to skin tone than to rose.
Naturally dyed with cochineal exhaust bath from Botanical Colors — the remaining color after a deeper dye bath has already been run. Exhaust bath dyeing is a traditional practice that uses the remaining dye in the pot efficiently. The result is a soft, clear pale pink with cochineal’s characteristic warmth. This is a tonal colorway — each skein moves through natural variations within the color range as the dye responds to each fiber. Colors may vary from images online. Pre-wash in cold water by hand before use, as natural dyes may release excess color during the first several washes. Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight.
