Yarn prices are subject to change at any time. Wool and dye prices fluctuate unexpectedly depending on availability and milling service prices. At times, some colors or weights might be unavailable. Processing times can vary, depending on the season, temperature and weather. Bespoke yarn could have color variations because the dye batch was done specifically for you.

Returns or Exchanges

Please reach out to me if you are unhappy with your shipment. Was it damaged or did you receive the wrong item? I want you to love your Blue Thistle purchase and I will work with you to make your next project a success. I will do my best to resolve the issue.

Yarn that is unwound or caked is not eligible for a refund or exchange.

Payment will be refunded through original payment method after the returned item is received in good condition. The customer is responsible for shipping costs, as shipping charges are non-refundable. For questions or exceptions please email Bespoke yarn is non-refundable/non-exchangable.



Typically, yarn will ship within 2-3 days of placing your order. For bespoke yarn, you will receive a shipping estimate based on your special order requirements.

Right now, I only ship to the U.S. and Canada. Shipments to the U.S. are delivered via USPS. For Canada, I offer USPS International First Class. Once USPS packages reach the border they are no longer able to be tracked as Canada Post assumes the responsibility of delivery. Any extra customs fees that may accrue are the responsibility of the purchaser. If you are outside of those countries, please email me and we can discuss shipping options – .

Once orders have been shipped, it is the customer’s responsibility. I am not liable for lost packages. If your package is lost, please contact USPS directly to resolve the issue. If your package was stolen, please know that is not the responsibility of Blue Thistle Fibers or the package carrier. To outsmart porch thieves, track and monitor shipments closely. If you chose first class mail in your shipment instructions, know that USPS does not always offer insurance for this option. If you prefer to insure the shipment, choose priority mail if shipping domestically.
