Our Blue Naturally Dyed Fibers & Yarns derive from two sources; INDIGO (Indigofera tinctoria)  & Indigo Carmine (Saxon Blue).

Source:  Botanical Colors extract (primary) with a small batch of Indigo grown in West Virginia & KY,

Origin: Extract from India or Central America

What It Is: Leaves containing indigo precursors Colors Created: Every shade of blue imaginable

  • Consistent color matching between dye lots
  • Winter dyeing when fresh plants aren’t available

    Non-superwash treatment allows natural dyes to penetrate deeply, creating richer, more nuanced colors. Each 219-yard skein knits at traditional Aran gauge.
