Our Blue Naturally Dyed Fibers & Yarns derive from two sources; INDIGO (Indigofera tinctoria)  & Indigo Carmine (Saxon Blue).

Source:  Botanical Colors extract (primary) with a small batch of Indigo grown in West Virginia & KY,

Origin: Extract from India or Central America

What It Is: Leaves containing indigo precursors Colors Created: Every shade of blue imaginable

See “Grown on Our Farm” section above for our trials with growing and processing fresh indigo. We use indigo extract  from Botanical Colors for our production dyeing because::
