100% Merino Worsted Weight Yarn | Mudpuppy

$28.00

The mudpuppy (Necturus maculosus) spends its whole life underwater, tucked beneath the flat stones of cold Appalachian rivers. It never leaves. It never needs to. Mudpuppy the colorway carries that same quality — a deep, settled wine that reads almost black in low light and opens up to rich burgundy where it catches the surface. Naturally dyed. 100% Merino Superwash, 219 yards / 200 meters, 100 grams. Fiber Source: Peru.

Care

Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry. All of our colorways are tonal – with shifts in color from light to dark as part of the natural dyeing process. Colors and tones may vary from the images online. Pre-wash in cold water – by hand – before use, as natural dyes may release excess color during the first several washes.
