Deep forest greens, light moss, & variegated greens with hints of brown and cream—the view from overlooks looking down at New River Gorge’s mixed hardwood forest. Oak, maple, and poplar creating layers of green with brown bark showing through.

Dye Sources: Weld + indigo overdyes, black walnut, oak bark

Color Story: The mixed hardwood canopy seen from gorge rim overlooks—layers of green with brown bark creating depth and movement. This is working forest green, not decorative garden green. The color of trees that were logged bare in the early 1900s and grew back stronger.

This is a tonal colorway – each skein shifts through warm tonal variations from deep cherry red to soft coral, as madder root reveals its range from vibrant crimson to luminous rose across the fibers. Available in several fiber types, in three intensities – Dark, Medium and Light.
