Description

Mulberry Green Sock Weight – New River Gorge.  Medium fresh green — the color of healthy leaves in summer, of fresh growth, of vibrant chlorophyll green. Not dark like Forest Canopy, not bright like Trail Fern, but the balanced medium green of pure chlorophyll. Clear, natural, with the particular green quality that only chlorophyllin can provide.

Naturally dyed with chlorophyllin extracted from white mulberry (Morus alba) from Botanical Colors. Chlorophyllin provides a clear, stable medium green that sits perfectly between the deep forest colors and bright spring tones. More consistent than fresh leaf extracts while maintaining natural green character. Part of our New River Gorge collection.

This colorway is available exclusively on 100% Blue-faced Leicester wool, chosen for its excellent dye uptake with mulberry leaves. This is a tonal colorway — each skein moves through natural variations within the color range as the dye responds to the fiber. Colors may vary from images online. Pre-wash in cold water by hand before use, as natural dyes may release excess color during the first several washes. Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight.

Dye source: Chlorophyllin from white mulberry (Morus alba) — Botanical Colors
