Not coral, not rose, not blush, but genuine pink: bright enough to read clearly as pink, soft enough to come from an exhaust bath. The color of pink roses, pink clouds at sunrise, pink that needs no explanation.
Naturally dyed with cochineal or madder exhaust bath from Botanical Colors. After dyeing deeper pinks or reds, the remaining dye in the pot produces this clear, true pink. Exhaust bath gives a softer result than a first dip dye pot would, with more complexity and depth. Single-source pink — no blending, no modifying, just cochineal or madder doing what they do best. This is a tonal colorway — each skein moves through natural variations within the color range as the dye responds to each fiber. Colors may vary from images online. Pre-wash in cold water by hand before use, as natural dyes may release excess color during the first several washes. Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight.
