Silk Camel Fingering Weight Yarn | Forest Shadow Green

$50.00

Forest Shadow, a green naturally dyed with chlorophyllin from white mulberry (Morus alba). Light. Fingering weight, 70% tussah silk and 30% camel, non-superwash. 378 yards / 345 meters per 115 grams.

All of our colorways are tonal – with shifts in color from light to dark as part of the natural dyeing process. Colors and tones may vary from the images online. Pre-wash in cold water – by hand – before use, as natural dyes may release excess color during the first several washes. Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight.

Inspired by the cool, pale greens at the forest’s edge.

Silk gives this camel blend a soft sheen and a drape that falls beautifully, so it suits a lightweight lace shawl or a fine-gauge cowl in knitting, or a crocheted openwork scarf or wrap where the pale green can glow.
