## What's Included in Your Drop-In Session

Your $12 drop-in session gives you access to our community fiber studio for the full 3-hour Saturday afternoon session (1:00-4:00 PM).

### Equipment Available

**Hand Spinning:**
- Studio spinning wheels (shared use)
- Drop spindles (various weights)
- Niddy noddys for skeining
- Yarn swifts and ball winders

**Fiber Preparation:**
- Hand cards (multiple weights and sizes)
- Blending boards for color work
- Fiber scales for measuring

**Natural Dye Studio:**
- Dye pots and burners
- Mordanting stations
- Drying racks and work tables
- Measuring tools, thermometers, pH test strips

### What to Bring

**Required:**
- Your own fiber to process, dye, or spin (or purchase fiber bases in studio)
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn!

**Optional:**
- Your own spinning wheel or spindle (if you have a preferred tool)
- Project bag for works in progress
- Notebook for recording techniques
- Water bottle

**Available for Purchase in Studio:**
- Natural dye extracts and mordants
- Undyed fiber bases
- Blue Thistle Fibers naturally dyed yarn and roving
- Hand spinning and fiber preparation tools

### Studio Guidelines

- Sign in upon arrival
- All visitors must complete a brief waiver (available at studio)
- Clean equipment after use
- Return tools to designated storage areas
- Ask questions! Sara or Clare will be available during all open hours
