Best Selling Lace Weight Naturally Dyed Yarn
Our naturally dyed lace weight yarn is made for shawls, delicate wraps, and fine knits — single-ply or held double for more structure. Available in kid mohair silk, suri alpaca silk, and cashmere silk bases, each skein is small-batch dyed at our Gauley Bridge studio using lightfast botanical dyes: logwood for violets, madder for reds and pinks, indigo for blues. These luxury fibers take natural dye with exceptional depth and luminosity.

At 219 yards per 100 grams, this 4-ply worsted knits up fast into hats, cowls, and winter wear with excellent stitch definition. Dyed with madder, logwood, and indigo using iron and other modifiers to shift color — the same botanical dyes, different results. A workhorse weight with a natural dye difference.
